Dr. Bhakta was born in California and raised in Texas. Her family moved to El Paso shortly after she was born, and she later attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her degree in Biochemistry. She went on to complete her dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
After graduation, she worked in practices across the DFW area, building her skills and experience. She moved to Mansfield in 2006 and started her own practice there in 2011.
Dr. Bhakta believes in continued education and is always learning so she can take better care of her patients. She has a strong focus on diagnosis and treatment planning—taking the time to understand the full picture before making recommendations, so nothing important gets missed.
Her approach combines thoughtful planning with modern tools, including digital dentistry, CAD/CAM technology, and 3D printing, to support more precise and conservative care.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Aashish Bhakta, and their two daughters. Her interest in health goes beyond dentistry—she has pursued additional training in fitness and nutrition with the same goal she has for her patients: long-term health. She focuses on simple, sustainable habits that support strength, function, and longevity over time. She also enjoys reading, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and is a proud Texas Longhorns fan.
