Dr. Rupal Bhakta was born in California. Her family moved to El Paso, TX shortly after her birth. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. After college, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After graduating, Dr Bhakta sharpened her skills working as an associate dentist in practices in the DFW metroplex.
Shortly after graduating from dental school, the doctors moved to Mansfield. In 2010, the Doctors began their dream of practice ownership. Dr Bhakta believes in life-long learning and she is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry through which she is working on obtaining her Fellowship. Dr Bhakta’s commitment to continuing education has most recently lead her to focus on digital dentistry with CEREC technology. She has become committed to dental sleep medicine, dental occlusion and dental implants. She is a firm proponent in minimally invasive dentistry. In 2015, Dr Bhakta began volunteering monthly at the Linda Nix Family Caring Place Clinic in Mansfield. The clinic is under the umbrella organization of Mansfield Cares. The nonprofit clinic provides medical and dental services to the financially challenged.
When she is not in the office, Dr Bhakta enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr Aashish Bhakta and their two daughters. She enjoys running, and is an avid reader and always looking for a recommendation for a great book. Audio books and podcasts have become her newest obsession. She is also a big fan of her beloved alma mater, the Texas Longhorns. Hook ’em!
